THE LAW ALENDMENT (TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS) ORDINANCE, 1946.
(Ordinance No. 2 of 1946).
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 8 of the Law
Amendment (Transitional Provisions) Ordinance, 1946, the Governor
in Council has ordered and it is hereby ordered as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Law Amendment (Transitional
Provisions) Schedule I Amendment Order, 1947.

Amendment of Schedule I.
Companies which com- plied with the De- fence (China Compan- ies Temporary Trans- fer of Registered Office) Regulations, 1941.
2. In this Order
"Schedule I" means Schedule I to the Law Amendment
(Transitional Provisions) Ordinance, 1946.
3. The Second Column of Schedule I is hereby amended by
addition thereto as follows:-
"The following Articles, as Articles 4A and 4B, shall be
inserted in the Proclamation after Article 4 thereof:-
ARTICLE 4A
Where any China Company has transferred its registered
office from a place within the limits of the China Order
in Council, 1925, to some part of the dominions of His
Majesty pursuant to the Defence (China Companies Temporary
Transfer of Registered Office) Regulations, 1941, but
which has not been registered in some territory within
the dominions of His Majesty in accordance with the law
or regulations in force for the time being in that
territory, such company shall, upon any registration
of such company as a Hong Kong Company pursuant to this
Proclamation, transfer its registered office to such
place as is provided for in the Memorandum of Association
of such company as amended from time to time and thereupon
the Defence (China Companies Temporary Transfer of Registered
Office) Regulations, 1941, and any amendment of the
